Woodland Design
Woodland will be designed with your exact requirements in mind; various techniques are used to help you achieve your aesthetic goals quickly.

The requirements of wildlife are primarily a diverse structure, swiftly creating a natural habitat environment.

Paths and open spaces are designed as part of the woodland to provide access for maintenance, and more importantly, to help create a wide range of habitats.  These features all help to contribute to a woodland that “looks good”.

Species composition also plays a vital role in Design. Tree choice is usually guided by local distribution, site and soil conditions.  This does however, give the designer and client great scope, for example Silver Birch or Field Maple is used close to dwellings to help blend the woodland into the garden and create a 'lighter' boundary.

Sharp unnatural lines and boundaries are always to be avoided to help blend the new woodland into the existing countryside.

There are numerous other design methods used to help create the woodland.

A good design & management plan will ensure you start and continue in the right direction.  We feel this is an essential step towards completing the project successfully.
